Impressive interview… Bob was great again and I love the international exposure for the LP!
But isn’t it getting old for Bob to always answer the cliche “spoiler” question?
Libertarians are not Republicans or “conservatives”, libertarians are libertarians. Libertarians come from right, left, and centrist.
The votes are not pre-ordered for McCain or Obama. All of this “taking away” votes stuff is nonsense. Nobody owns or has an exclusive right to votes. Candidates have to earn votes on their own merits.
Libertarians would love to “take votes” from both Democrats and Republicans. This is why the LP will never implode like the Greens.

Im finding more info on Bob’s “2 degrees in foreign relations”. This seems interesting because it is alot better than Mcbamas experience, by its self, let alone the other experience.
I wish to hear a list of worst case scenarios answered by barr. That could sway votes way better than just saying non interventionism cause than everyone thinks you mean do nothing.
What if nuclear armed extremists threaten us, or what if nuclear armed russia takes a broad and bold move to alaska for it dominance of the worlds energy? What if bush takes action in Georgia before you are in office? Interesting questions that could show some kind of pattern in decision.

SO, what you are telling America ONLY 4% of the people comprise UNDECIDED VOTERS, BOB BARR VOTERS, RALPH NADER VOTERS, and still other Third Party candidates such as McKinney and Baldwin.
I’ll be sure to pass this along in what a sham the media and these pollsters who are being paid by the Duopoly are doing basically saying AMERICANS ARE STUPID.

I’m tired of being censored on this blog for people, “Libertarians,” who pretend to being for freedom–isn’t this censorship ridiculous?–doesn’t it merely reduce u Libertarians to absurdity and hypocrisy?–and ask urselves, who does it serve? For censorship really does serve a distinct interest–same interest served by Dem.s and Rep.s, obviously.
I consider as long as I speak generally to the pt. and remain roughly acceptable for diction and choice of words which leave out excessive name-calling and obscenities, etc., I should be allowed to have my say, as it is un-questionably constructive and crucial for the appropriate political dialectic.
Don’t talk about “scaring” cowards away–it’s ridiculous on its face.
U can, after all, ck the little thumb-up or -down box to show how u think–what more do u want?–unless it’s outright, gross censorship in order to keep Libertarians in line with the top oligarchs already served by Dem.s and Rep.s.
There’s simply no excuse for this disgusting censorship, and if u Libertarians wonder why so few people take u Libertarians seriously even in the face of the two gross criminal factions presently dominating the political scene, u ought to have the brains to look to ur own putrid hypocrisy for ur censorship.
For I’m determined to bring attention to gross conspiratorial challenge facing USA. Libertarians must be brought to face explicitly the AIPAC corruption of the entire political process. Both parties are bought and controlled by Jews: McCain is married into a Jew criminal family, pure and simple–the Hensleys of Arizona–this is a notorious fact. Joe Biden, VP candidate of Dem.s, avowedly calls himself a “zionist”–don’t u realize this is simply treason?
Note then the general political corruption is so horrific, gross murderous treason is thus made to seem merely prosaic and matter-of-course. Outright Catastrophe–like war against Iran merely in sycophantic service to Israel–looms.
AIPAC is involved in criminal espionage against USA, it’s agents Jews, Rosen and Weissman, formally indicted. Jew/Israeli companies control the large Telecom companies, now headquartered largely in Israel, by the way, by which they spy on Americans; Jew/Israelis control the security companies that guard USA nuclear weapons, I understand.
CONCLUSION: Why shouldn’t these topics be properly debated on Libertarian forums?–why should these extremely important matters be taboo, subject to censorship? You preach corruption by the jewish as if corruption by whites is perfectly ok. As a Libertarian, corruption by ANYONE is not accepted reguardlass of who or what they are. But this will lead me to my next statement. I am sure you have heard the old question “If a tree falls in the forrest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a noise?” In your case since you are playing the part of the tree, us ignoring you and not reading in to your petty hate speech renders you silent to everyone but yourself. Hey all,
I’m new to politics and I can’t stand either of the main parties, but I just discovered Bob Barr with the news that he was the only one who took the personal responsibility to be on the Texas ballot for November.
Could the Barr campaign sue to prevent McCain and Obama from getting on the ballot in TX? Because if you could, those 34 electoral votes would belong to Bob Barr - what a statement about the strength of libertarian ideals in this country! I’m going to read more about Bob’s stances on the issues, but this news out of Texas is really, really exciting to me as an American citizen.

It would be nice if the Rasmussen people showed us the questions they asked and whether or not other candidates were included in the question. Their website doesn’t show any of that stuff. Instead, it’s a poorly written article about the race being “tied”. How convenient would that be for the MSM? I mean, what a “made for TV” story would that be!
I wouldn’t worry about the Rasmussen poll right now. Let’s see what the other polls say.
It’s not hard to manipulate the results on these things… it all depends on how the question is asked, in what order they’re asked, the sampling, what the “choices” are, etc.
That said, if 96% of the voters really want a Republicrat despite their low approval ratings at everything else then I guess those people will get what they deserve.

Latest Zogby Poll from 9/6/08 has about the same results as Rasmussen… but McCain has a slight lead, about 49% to 46%.
But…
Zogby just asked people who they’d vote for if it’s just a two person race between Obama and McCain.
So of course their polling numbers are going to be higher when other candidates aren’t even considered.

Yes it’s possible that most of the “undecided” 5% could be for Barr.
But how is a third party candidate ever supposed to get 15% in the polls - and qualify for debates - if his name isn’t even mentioned in the poll questions? Especially when he was polling up to 11% in some states?
Either that or they’ve just decided not to publish those results. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but it wouldn’t surprise me if these polling groups colluded and decided just to stop asking people about Barr.

Thanks much Mike, esp. for ur agreement we shouldn’t censor and that open discussion is good in general and for Libertarians. I hope u didn’t fail to note my riposte to ur previous note in the previous Maher blog. A few of ur premises need to be questioned.
First, anyone pretending to discuss Jews needs to consider most seriously nature of Talmud which necessarily defines Jews–see RevisionistHistory.org, TruthTellers.org, and Come-and-hear.com for best expo on Talmud. For even Jews who pretend to not being “religious” adhere in all loyalty to their religious relatives–this while they profess not to being “racist.”
Thus Talmud excuses Jews lying and cheating gentiles–this is Talmudic and Judaic program for Jew conduct against gentiles, and it’s why and how AIPAC, for example, has such stranglehold over USA politics. Talmud states Jesus Christ was rightfully executed for blasphemy and heresy.
Second, observe USA is made by white Christians for white Christians; Jews are mere presumptuous recipients of white Christian charity, and everything about Jews in USA must properly serve white Christians. Thus there can obviously be no equality for Jews and their corruption.
Third, note further, Jews actually control organized crime in the USA and the world–see Mike Collins Piper’s “The New Jerusalem.” Hence the horrific situation is actually, given the general corruption in USA, it is controlled and manipulated by Jews to serve Jews (and Israel)–against the interests of everyone else.
For example, Jew dual-loyalist Dov Zakheim, while comptroller of the Pentagon, as during 9-11, oversaw the loss of over 2 trillion (that’s “trillion” with a T) dollars and such as the arbitrary labeling of at least a squadron of F-15s (or maybe -16s) as “surplus” and then simply given to Israel–and this is just tip of proverbial ice-berg (ck Judicial-inc.biz).
The pt. is that USA has LITERALLY been taken over by Jews–not merely “zionists”–for the purpose of serving Israel for one thing. But there’s yet another (parallel) conspiracy at work and that has to do with communist world gov. of United Nations (UN) which Jews are heavily involved with too (see TheNewAmerican.com for expo/ref. on CFR-Bilderberg conspiracy).
In fact, that is very much what current election btwn Dem.s and Rep.s is about: the communists of UN, preaching “democracy” on “left” vs. the zionists and Israel-firsters of the Republicans and the so-called “right.”
U talk about “twists” Mike–but what about ur own? For fact is racism is virtue, virtue of loyalty–ck the dictionary. We whites (meaning non-Jew) are determined to preserve our race–WHICH IS VERY PURPOSE OF A SOVEREIGN NATION IN FIRST PLACE.
Racism is the very 5th commandment of the original Ten: “Honor thy race (Parentage).”
Surely most pernicious and critical problem w. USA presently is that central, fundamental COUNTERFEIT conspiracy (see RealityZone.com for expo/ref. on US Federal Reserve Bank [Fed] fraud) by which a criminal conspiratorial cabal is actively working for the destruction of sovereign USA.
Mike I note u talk about “hate”–but isn’t it only natural to hate murdering criminal conspirators who attempt to intimidate others fm speaking the truth which exposes those criminals who hide behind religion and Talmud? “Hatred” is perfectly justified regarding such murdering Talmudic criminals, isn’t it? Thus in certain situations “hatred” is thoroughly justified–even necessary–emotion, isn’t it?

Fundraising goals: We are only $45.00 away from hitting $850,000……..could be raise that tonight before we go to bed?
I posted this just a bit ago on another thread (West Virginia) when we were $150.00 away from getting to $850,000. I made a donation right after that post to get it going.
And we have 7,949 donors………just 51 short of 8,000! Are there 51 of us who can go out tomorrow and find just 1 new donor and get us to the 8,000 donor mark? These seem two small doable goals……….

Speculation: I understand from the newest Zogby poll after the RNC McZCain-Palin surprisingly has a 4 % lead over Obama-Biden. The Democrats may become worried now and some of them may possibly fund Barr/the LP and - even more importantly - start to consider allowing
Bob Barr in the debates, which would be great news. The Barr campaign should work on this strategy. One can also note that in the senate race in Minnesota GOP incumbent Norman Coleman has asked for the candidate of the Independence Party (to be determined this week in the primary, possibly Dean Barkly) to be included in the debates with his DFL challenger Al Franken.
I also think the joint news conference with Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin should help a lot to sharpen the profile and influence of Barr in this election.
Oh, the GOP is using the Palin-popularity at the moment, but she would have to do interviews at a time and take a concrete stance on important issues, like the war in Iraq, her difference with McCain (global warming), his own voting history etc. and by that time she will loose a lot of steam. She is being schooled by Bush admin. people on foreign policy. If she takes the interventionist stance, she is not fiscally conservative and will loose support and will have to explain not only her past support of Pat Buchanan, but also her recent positive remarks about Ron Paul.

As an american, born here (New Orleans), but who also speaks Russian, let me tell you, that Bob Barr is absolutely correct, in regards to his take on the current ‘arrogant’ stance of the Bush administration in regards to Russia.
Talk about loss of respect, the fact is, that many Russians were looking to America with respect and a rather niave belief in the American press as being ‘free’, but when the Bush administration starting spewing obvious falsehoods about Georgia, and remember this is their backyard, they no absolutely without any doubt that Georgia is not a modern western style democracy, but in fact, a pseudo-democracy, with very limited freedoms…that launched an aggressive ethnic based attack on a peaceful South Ossetian region, in complete violation of their internation agreements…
and the so-called free press went along with the Bush administrations stance, and reported the whole story line from a rather absurd perspective..
well a whole generation of Russians doubt very much in the free press of America. In fact I personally was a little puzzled by the behaviour of the ‘free’ press too. Even as an american I never expected the bias to be this severe.
Bush doesn’t believe in anything, if he is sending $1 billion to prop up the Georgian government, and basically save Saakashvili’s career (interfering in a soverign governments political process)…rebuilding the Georgian military that was just used for ethnic slaughter, and basically excusing this behavior calling Georgian leadership - ‘impressive reformers’ (OMG, R U KIDDING ME???)
Anyway, sorry for the rant, but Bob Barr is the only candidate, and I mean the only one that gets this issue.

Maybe I’m being a nob (slang from work) but I cannot find an email address on the site. Maybe one of you Great WebMeisters can figure it out and repost it so we can have an email address to flood.
But on a good note, that was the only reply that stated they have nothing to do with it. And a funny side bar, after sending the mass email from one of the links that Randy posted… I got a reply from Obama thanking me for support. LOL

Thanks for the phone number, just called it and the lady directed me to the we site. I asked her about how to get Bob on the stage and she stated that the best way to do so would be to do exactly what I’m doing… calling the office. Supposedly, she was recording the conversation and would ‘forward it’ to her superiors. That may or may not be true, but it sure cant hurt to call. The line was busy the first couple of times that I called, but on the 3rd try, I got through to an actual person, not an automated system.
I suggest we flood that phone number with as many callers as we can muster. Even if there is no ‘recorded message’ to send to superiors…. the volume of calls for Bob should speak for itself.

tRobertD….It was so good to hear someone else speak who has real knowledge of Russia. My husband was born, raised, educated and employed in Soviet Russia. He has a better working knowledge of American history and politics than most Americans. He regularly shakes his head in sadness at the turn of US policy and the sheeple who do not see the dangers in our governments power grab and crappy foreign policy. But what mystifies him most is why so many people don’t bother to read news from all over the world, especially when our own press is barely a step above Pravda.
One thing for sure…..he believes that the voices of Bob Barr, Ron Paul and their supporters are the only hope to stop the progression of the USSA in America.
