Bob on Bill Maher’s “New Rule”

September 6th, 2008 by Jason Pye

On his show last night, Bill Maher showed a RNC edition of the “New Rule” included Bob Barr. Marc Gallagher over at Liberty Maven said, “Most of the lines were just not funny, but Paul’s line and Barr’s line brought out the laughs.”

Here is the video:

Great “New Rule” lines from Ron Paul and Bob Barr. VERY funny. :)

The ones from Ron Reagan, Jr., and Jesse Ventura were good, but the rest were pretty lame. And Laura Ingraham…I didn’t even hear crickets after she spoke! :o

I love the delayed laughter after Bob’s line as it slowly dawns on the audience, “Hey, that’s true!”

I just sent an email to the Univ of Mississippi about the upcoming debate, I know its kind of soon, but the debate is on Sept 26th. The address is http://www.olemiss.edu/debate/resources/contact/ to send an email to make an attempt to get Bob Barr on the debate stage. If we will overwhelm them with emails, maybe we can be heard. I’m going to send more emails to the rest of the locations on the debate schedule.

    Update…

October 2nd the debate is going to be at Washington University. I couldnt find an email address to the actual debate staff, but for what its worth, there is an email address to something called the Washington University Neighnorhood Network. Who knows, if enough emails are sent, maybe someone will take notice. That address is:
http://neighbors.wustl.edu/ You have to go to the website and send an email from the web page.

The debate at Belmont is on October 7th and the email address is:
    debate08@mail.belmont.edu

The final debate is at Hofstra University and the email to the President (after it goes through all the filtering) is:
    president@hofstra.edu

    Hope this helps.

Maher’s pretty snarky and his material is often despicable, but I do find him funny the rest of the time and enjoyed this particular post with Bob Barr. See? Another bit of proof that attending these events can get you press you would never have gotten before!

Bob has a great sense of humor. I loved that standup comedy post that was up here recently. Hopefully he can make alot of headway in the next few weeks as people get to know him more.

    Libertarians Need To Get Serious
    (Apollonian, 6 Sep 08)

Oh, har har har–what balderdash–if I may humbly submit. Thus Libertarians are in danger of congeniality to death. Why play by “feel-good” “nice-guy” rules obviously meant to lull and divert the people?

Libertarians ought to get rather more mean and nasty–to provoke–to get visceral, which means then to attack the gross, murdering CRIMINALS and CONSPIRATORS at the oligarchal top who run the COUNTERFEITING fraud of US Federal Reserve Bank (Fed)–see RealityZone.com for expo/ref.

These conspirators and criminals then are directly associated with Israel, AIPAC, “neo-cons,” “dual-loyalists,” “zionists,” and other Jews who merely invoke MORALISM-PHARISAISM (as in form of non- or anti-racism) against anyone who questions them. Libertarians are too easily intimidated.

For USA is Christian land and Libertarians need to face reality–AND RESPECT THE PEOPLE, the real people of this land, white Christians. Get a clue Libertarians.

CONCLUSION: Those who disagree w. my thesis, above, then are of only two basic, possible kinds, I submit: (a) anti-whites and -Christians, and (b) money-grubbers who are more desperate for campaign contributions than they are for any meaningful campaign or real message for the volk. And these two are irrelevant to any proper, appropriate campaign, I submit. Honest elections and death to the Fed. Apollonian

I’m an advocate of free speech, but when you post ramblings like that you make me what to rethink that stance. There’s a time and a place for the type of discussion that you are trying to turn this into, and this isn’t either. We are trying to recruit new people to the cause of Liberty, the Bob Barr campaign, and the Libertarian Party. Posts like yours scare people away. I’m not saying that your views are wrong, especially since your sentence structure and writing style is so jumbled it’s hard to tell what point you’re even trying to make. I respectfully suggest that you find another blog or forum where your conspiracy views will be more appropriate and more widely accepted.

You know what I like about people like you…besides nothing? That whenever you speak your bullshit you solidify my stants on racist idiots and why they are my enemy. So while you sit in your little corner of society and endlessly give so much of yourself to hating people for physical reasons they cannot help, consider this, you are wasting your time because your cause in long over. The fact that you have taken some much of your self and devoted it to your enemies of another race, especially since they dont even know you exist, tells me with your efforts, that your probably better off sucking on an exhaust pipe and trying your rant to impress Hitler himself in Hell, at least he will buy into it.

I forgot to mention the video in my last entry. I really liked Barr and Paul’s lines. Barr coming out with “Theres one way to make sure Bush and Cheney hear you, just make a private call to your family” was a nice kick in the nether region. I have always been a fan of a back handed joke, especially towards our president. Nice job Bob.

I think it best to ignore people like Apollonian rather than censor them. What he/she wants is attention, and while I’m sure he may get it from his conspiracy theory friends in high school, in the real world, people will in general recognize the lunacy he represents and ignore it anyway. The only unfortunate thing is that these people are often the most passionate and convinced of their own intellectual superiority.

Until I got the link that youd posted, I did a Google search for the Debate schedule, then went to each site (as best I could) then sent an email to each location. Amounting to maybe 4 people that would even look at it. Though it was a valid effort, unless hundreds (hopefully thousands) did the same thing, it was not very weighty. However, I liked the link that you posted and was very simple. I didnt have to type out or cut/paste any information and the letter was very professional and not ‘in your face’ like some extremists are “ahem’ not mentioning any of the above posters.

Again, that link for the email to be sent to the decision makers to get Bob on the Debate stage is.

Here’s my rant to Ole Miss:

As there is consistently more and more talk from the Democrats and Republicans of “bipartisan solutions”, of “reaching across the aisle”, and “working together”, it seems apparent to myself and millions of other independents, or otherwise non-strict party-liners, that there are few meaningful differences between the two leading parties.

In order to see what issues really matter, the floor of the debates should be open to all of those candidates that have achieved ballot access in enough electoral districts (states) to theoretically win the presidency.

The arbitrary “polling” requirement put forth by the CPD only perpetuates the poll numbers: by omitting candidates that are just below the 15% required, they can never hope to gain any ground when their message isn’t being given the valuable platform accorded to the people that have no problems distributing messages.

More people would like to see Bob Barr, for example, included in the debates than excluded - though they may not yet respond to a phone poll that they would vote for him. Why is this? Could it be because people don’t give the Barr campaign the same practical chances at winning? And that perception is directly dependent on the treatment of a candidate in the ‘public eye’. By excluding these candidates the CPD, Media sponsors, and your institution are artificially inflating the public perception of the ‘leading’ candidates, further decimating the chances for another candidate to poll higher and earn a spot in the next debate.

Please invite Bob Barr, among others, to your debate: if anything it will increase the ratings, because I know I won’t watch if he isn’t included (and I doubt too many would turn it off because there is an extra voice in the mix).

Libertarians Must Heed Reason, Reject Censorship
    (Apollonian, 7 Sep 08)

The ironic thing (for some, anyway) is that on this Libertarian blog, which Libertarians pretend to being for “freedom,” I would be censored for speaking truth about Jews who are Talmudists by definition (see RevisionistHistory.org, TruthTellers.org, and Come-and-hear.com for best Talmudic expo)–all anyone has to do is to ck sources, Jew or Christian. Again that, very simply is what Jews are, even by their own assent, Talmudists (or related racially thereto). Again–Talmud–that’s the only thing one needs to say; now go and check it out for urselves.

Regarding conspiracy theme/thesis, note: (a) Christian New Testament (NT) is conspiracy theory in itself, and (b) Fed counterfeiting fraud is indubitably conspiracy, by definition, and necessity–one only has to confirm its nature as counterfeiting scam, and then consider whether counterfeiting is fraud, Q.E.D.

In answer to posters above, allow me to merely say:
    (a) to “diamond Dave”–note I never asked u if there was “room.” It’s u Libertarians don’t need.

    (b) To “Randy Speeg” who says he doesn’t know pt. I’m trying to make–Randy, u lie, very simply, and liars are not likely to be popular w. people who already are tired of Dems and Reps. who are already dominated by Israel-firsters. USA was made by and for white Christians–why would u deny this truth?–and if so, how do u expect people to take u seriously?

    (c) To “Michael”: u have nothing to say of any substance whatever; note racism is loyalty by definition–ck the dictionary–and it’s outstanding virtue, unquestionably. U’re probably just a Jew urself, to judge by ur hysterical screeching about a patriot like Hitler, aren’t u Mike? Again, I note simple truth USA is made by and for white Christians, u people need to get this straight within ur minds.

    (d) To Luke: if conspiracy is not mere matter-of-fact as I conclusively demonstrate above, then pls say what’s wrong w. USA aside fm conspiracy. Luke, did u bother to ck my source given? I don’t say I’m “superior”–what I say is I’m HONEST and I pt. out the TRUTH which rest of u (too many of u, anyway) are too willing to be censored fm honest, serious discussion.

CONCLUSION: Libertarians: if u seriously hope for success u must reject these dissemblers I name and rebut, above, and the others like them fm ur horribly Jew-infested and -affected party. Conspiracy is blatantly obvious problem, and Jews are at very center of it–they control the money and funding, and they obviously infest Libertarians too, making Libertarians indistinguishable fm moralizing (as for “anti-racism”), “diversity”-loving, anti-white, and anti-Christian Dems and Reps. Least u can do is afford a forum for free expression to observe HONEST man like myself wiping the floor with these weaklings (as above-mentioned) in debate. Honest elections and death to the Fed. Apollonian

Washington University does have input on the debates — they can tell the Dems, Repubs and CPD that either all viable parties are represented or they can find another forum ! The trouble is Washington Univ, like so many others, is willing to sell its soul in exchange for the attention [and money] brought it by these closed debates.
