The paragraph from the New York Times the sums up what Bob should run on.

“Now, on the war in Iraq, he advocates for a speedy and complete withdrawal of troops, with no permanent bases; on same-*** marriage, he believes that states should make their own laws; and on wiretaps without warrants, he is fiercely opposed, arguing that the bill that would legalize searches without warrants violates an individual’s constitutional rights.”

Those are 3 positions different from McCain and Obama.

I just watched Bob Barr on Fox News. He did very well. My question to him is, “Bob, even given the skewed intelligence, why did you vote to authorize the Iraq war? After all, Ron Paul was smart enough to not authorize it? Will you ever have the foresight that Dr. Paul consistently shows?”

federal government is so big that it cannot function, with effectiveness of any more than 20% (and that it optimistic). yes, the debt and unfunded liabilites are going to destroy any chance for past prosperities, but look at intelligence before iraq, katrina, midwest flooding, minnesota bridges, etc. besides creating debt, what has the federal government successfully accomplish?
