Promote the campaign in your community
June 8th, 2008 by Jason PyeWould you like to promote the campaign in your community? You can spread the message of liberty by starting a meetup group for Bob Barr. Despite the campaign being only a couple weeks old, we have twice as many supporters as John McCain in twice as many cities.
Grassroots promotion at the local level is what will make this campaign a success and we need your help do it.

I am a Hillary Clinton supporter, or I was. Anyway, bieng sick of both corrupt parties, I am thinking of going Libertarian. I have also spread the word to other supporters I know who feel that the Democratic Party has let them down. I Listened to Bab Bar on Glen Beck via XM Radio, and I really shared many of his views. Being a Truck Driver, I was happy to hear he is against the NAFTA Super Highway. I May not be able to Host any meet groups, but I will be spreading the word. We need to take this country back, and send a message to these two parties that they are not the ones who will dictate who gets elected: the people of this country are.

So…, let’s start meet ups at truck stops, there is now reason we can’t do something to help, I personally am willing to put Bab Barr campaign signs or wraps on my truck. We have to do something, just talking about doing something isn’t going to get it anymore. I am ready, as are alot of my friends, to take this country back. Let’s get started NOW.
Somebody PLEASE tell me where to get a truck wrap done. I will also need Bob Barr ‘08 approved art work.

I myself can’t contribute do to my age but i think that if Bob Barr is going to have a shot we all need to contribute cause one thing is for sure if you are going to run a campaign you have to have money

Let’s all do our part! If you’re on Myspace or any of those sites spread the word through your bulletin posts etc. If at all possible try to host a meet group or at least attend one. I’m excited about a third choice and a good one at that. We need to contribute. If you don’t have the cash then volunteer. We can all do something.

I am a republican, but, after listening to Mr. Bar speak, i am seriously thinking of giving my vote to him. I was ron paulerson, they cheated where i live, we overwelmingly voted for him, but somehow….he did not make it. mr, Bar has the right ideas, in fact, what better choice do we have, Obama? NOOOO HilaryNOOOO, Mccain……the same old thing.
Change is needed, law returned , fairness returned, following thwe constitution is the way.Funny how the news media is bias, one sided. We need to gret out the word here in hawaii, Mr. Bar would do well here. QWe are a constituional lot out here, a free spirited people.

I agree with all the comments that have been made so far here in this section of Mr. Barr’s website. I have one concern that I would like Mr. Barr and the Libertarian party to address - how do we combat the arguement from people that our vote will be wasted if we vote for the Liberterian Party? I was glad to hear Glenn Beck ask the same question as his very first question when Mr. Barr appeared for one hour on Glenn’s television show. However, I did feel that Mr. Barr’s answer was a bit “glib” and did not really give us the ammunition we need to convince undecideds, independents and disenchanted democrats and republicans that we really can make a difference by voting for a Liberterian. Also, what will Bob Barr do to influence the eventual winner of the election - assuming that the winner will be either the democrat or republican. Is there any way that we can really influence policy without becoming a “special interest group”. I would also like to know how to find out about volunteer opportunities in the campaign. I do not see anything on this website. Let’s get the inefficient, self important, self involved government officials and their policies out of Washington. How do we get term limits. We’ve got the wolf watching the hen house. What a way to run a railroad. Don’t get me started.
