What folks are saying about Bob

May 15th, 2008 by Stephen Gordon

“Mr. McCain may believe he can attract the votes of young people with his green street cred, but he would be advised not to go too far in alienating his conservative base. Mr. Barr will likely be there every step of the way exploiting conservative discontent with the GOP nominee.” – John Fund

“So a lot of the scaffolding is there that could make this state a Libertarian target. Bob Barr, for example, voted for drilling in ANWR, and could lace into McCain on the issue. A higher-than-normal number of Alaskans will be voting Democratic down the ballot, and might want to split it…and hey, there’ll be another conservative candidate they can vote for if they can’t stomach Obama.” — David Weigel

All Bob Barr needs to do to win the Presidency is to advocate enhancing the infrastructure of the country (the primary job of government) by building an interstate high speed mass transit mag-lev railway.
It worked for Ike and it will eliminate our dependence on foreign oil.
It will stabilize the economy and create jobs and manufacturing.
It will do a multitude of other nice environmental things just like spinoffs from NASA

Since the Democrats, McCain and Obama, want to talk about foreign policy and the environment, Bob Barr should contact Gov. Swarzenagger about implementing the hydrogen highway for the H2 internal combustion engine across the United States.

Getting off oil is the only way we’ll be able to fight terrorism. We can’t even put real pressure on Saudi Arabi to stop teaching their children to hate Americans if we don’t stop being dependent on them for oil.

Converting to the hydrogen economy would allow for domestic production of energy for automobiles and result in an economic boom.

The saddest parts of this whole ordeal(2008 Election) are:
#1 That Dr. Paul got screwed every which way including loose,
#2 That if Mr. Barr hadn’t left the Republican Party(which I do applaud) and he was running as a Republican, he would be the “presumptive nominee”
