Tony Sarrecchia understands what makes Sean Hannity angry

April 22nd, 2008 by blog staff

“The Republican Party was once the party of small government and individual liberty, but it has devolved into a megalith of social conservatism (occasionally boarding on theocratic dogma), a behemoth sized government and an eradicator of civil liberties,” writes Sarrecchia  in the Kennesaw State University newspaper. “Libertarians want a country where, as long as force or fraud is not involved, individuals are free to do as they wish; much like the old Republican Party.  The problem for Libertarians is raising public awareness.  Barr’s name recognition  would go a long way to raising that public awareness–something that would spell disaster for the Republican Party.  And Hannity knows it.”

Sarrecchia hit the nail squarely on the head with his conclusion:

While the democrats will tell you the government programs are the solution to all our problems, and Republicans believe government program growth is necessary in this time of slogan wars, Libertarians believe the only good government program is the one that just ended.  The unalienable rights of the individual to pursue life, liberty and happiness in whatever way that individual defines (barring force or fraud), those terms are paramount to the Libertarian party and most government programs that run counter to that end.  Regardless of Bob Barr winning the election, or even the Libertarian nomination, he can carry the Libertarian message to the people.

And that is why Sean Hannity is so angry.

I, for one, am all for making Sean Hannity angry. I used to think he was a “Great American” but now I know he’s just a “Great North American.”

In my estimation it is far worse than that. The neo-cons and global money changers are turning America into a fascist state, setting themselves up to be petty dictators with not-so-petty powers. Even the Republican party has been declaring allegiance to the UN Government! While I am nowhere near ready to give up on Ron Paul as president, you can be sure that any politician that declares to be FOR the Constitution AS WRITTEN will have my support.

    Margaret,

Please, please, for everyone’s sake, we’ve just wheeled as many bitter-enders as possible into the Sun Room for a quiet afternoon. And as for Paul himself, leave ‘im alone, he’s happy.

Awhile ago I overheard Sean Hannity on his radio program say, “we don’t need a third party, we need to fix the Republican party.” The Republican Party is beyond repair in my estimation with the recent defection by Newt to the Enviro-Wackos and McCain’s innability to stand with fellow party members on key issues. The most recent “controversial ad” by the North Carolina GOP was denounced by McCain because he wants to remain civil and fight a “clean campaign”. Just what does he expect to face in the general election? It’s time to give the two major parties a swift kick in the *** and vote for liberty in 2008!

    We are pretty much toast
With the way spending and debt is going in Washington and who is going to stop it? Obama - pure socialism, Clinton - amoral socialism and don’t forget Gooffy. You can just stick a fork in us.
Lets face it its going to get a lot worse before it gets better, I just feel sorry for our children.
Anybody who wants to shut down PIGS in Washington (Bejing) I will support.
    Good luck to us all

Sean Hannity is a blow-hard MSM lacky just like Rush… Operation Chaos (what a joke). We need serious men with moral clarity to lead this nation back to some semblence of common sense (now Michael Savage comes to mind). I think Bob Barr may be able to do that, I sure wish Ron Paul would have been the GOP nominee because I’ll never vote for any of the three Republicrats at the top of the Demo/Repub tickets for ‘08. Good Lord, where are all the real men in this country?! I am a member of the Constitution Party, but I’d go Libertarian and vote for Bob Barr.
